ALEXANDAARON.COM
Alexandaaron.com was a responsive website that collected RSVPs to help with plan a wedding.
These wireframes show the early responsive layout design showing the users entry point into the website.
I usually start the design process with low fidelity wireframes. This is the way I iterate through many design options quickly.
Key Takeaways
Users needed a clear and easy to navigate site to direct them were they wanted to go—the simpler the better.
Most of the users, were not concerned with the look of the site. They were simply there to RSVP to the wedding, and get the information they needed to make their own plans.
FINAL THOUGHTS
We decided on a clean, minimal look, using only 3 colors (black, white and maroon), to not distract the users from accomplishing their goal of confirming their RSVP. Even though we wanted them to stick around and peruse the site, very few users stuck around longer than RSVPing and gathering hotel and directions to the wedding.
